Guide for Authors

The International Journal of Information Systems and Software Engineering (IJISSE) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal that publishes high-quality original research articles, review papers, and case studies in the fields of information systems, software engineering, intelligent computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.

IJISSE welcomes contributions from academics, researchers, professionals, practitioners, and industry experts worldwide. The journal aims to provide a scientific platform for the dissemination of innovative theories, methodologies, frameworks, applications, and technological solutions that contribute to the advancement of digital systems and software engineering.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that address theoretical developments, empirical studies, practical implementations, and interdisciplinary innovations related to information systems and software technologies.

1.

Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the official IJISSE manuscript template and submit the paper through the online submission system. Manuscripts that do not follow the journal formatting guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision before the review process.

2.

Submitted manuscripts must be original works and must not have been previously published, accepted for publication, or simultaneously submitted to another journal, conference, or publication platform.

3.

All submitted papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by experts in the relevant field. The review process evaluates originality, scientific contribution, technical quality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal scope.

4.

IJISSE is committed to providing an efficient and professional publication process. The editorial team aims to complete the initial review process within four to eight weeks after submission. Authors will be notified regarding the editorial decision as soon as the review process is completed.

5.

The International Journal of Information Systems and Software Engineering (IJISSE) is an open-access journal. Accepted articles may be subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC) in accordance with the journal policy. Detailed information regarding publication fees will be provided by the editorial office or listed on the journal website.

6.

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, implementation, analysis, or interpretation of the study. All contributors who have substantially participated in the research should be listed as co-authors. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission for publication.

7.

Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation of the manuscript. Sources of financial support, sponsorship, or institutional funding related to the research must also be clearly acknowledged.

8.

Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be provided. Authors should appropriately cite all relevant publications, references, datasets, software, and prior research that influenced the reported work. Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited and may result in rejection of the manuscript.

9.

Authors are encouraged to ensure that their manuscripts are written in clear, professional English. Manuscripts with poor language quality may be returned for language improvement before being considered for peer review.

10.

By submitting a manuscript to IJISSE, authors agree that the journal has the right to edit, reproduce, and publish the accepted work in accordance with the journal’s publication policies and copyright regulations.
